Glow & Glutathione is our glutathione drip in Krabi. It combines glutathione, vitamin C and biotin in a hydrating base, and it’s a gentle way to top up fluids and give your body some antioxidant support after days of sun, sea and late nights.

A registered nurse gives every drip, either at our Ao Nang clinic or at your hotel, villa or bungalow. It takes about 45 minutes, and you can rest, read or nap while it runs.

Who books a glutathione IV drip in Ao Nang

Most guests who book a glutathione IV drip in Ao Nang are mid-holiday and feeling a bit worn out. Common reasons include:

  • Lots of sun: beach days, island-hopping and boat trips with little shade
  • Heat and dehydration: Krabi is hot and humid all year, and most visitors drink less than they lose
  • Before an event: weddings, birthdays and photo shoots, when you want to feel fresh and well hydrated

It’s a wellness drip, not a medical treatment. It won’t fix sunburn, and it doesn’t replace sunscreen, shade, water and sleep.

What’s in our glutathione drip in Krabi

Glow & Glutathione keeps the ingredient list short:

  • Glutathione: an antioxidant your body makes naturally, mainly in the liver. It helps protect cells from everyday oxidative stress.
  • Vitamin C: another antioxidant, and a vitamin your body uses to make collagen.
  • Biotin: a B vitamin often included in hair, skin and nail formulas.
  • Hydration base: sterile fluid that carries the ingredients and helps you rehydrate.

Before your drip, the nurse runs a short health screening and may adjust the formula to suit you. If another drip would suit you better, such as Island Hydration for straightforward dehydration, they’ll tell you.

What we don’t promise

You’ll see glutathione drips in Thailand marketed for lighter or “brighter” skin. We don’t make those claims. There’s no good evidence that IV glutathione safely changes skin colour, and no regulator has approved it for that use. A 2025 review in Cureus found the evidence for IV glutathione as a skin treatment is limited and short-lived, and raised safety concerns about high, repeated doses given without close medical supervision.

The Cleveland Clinic also notes there’s limited scientific evidence that IV vitamins give a general wellness benefit. So we describe Glow & Glutathione honestly: fluids plus antioxidant support, given carefully, at sensible doses.

What to expect

  1. Screening: the nurse asks about your health, medicines and allergies, and checks your blood pressure and pulse.
  2. Cannula: a small, soft tube goes into a vein in your hand or arm. You’ll feel a quick sharp scratch.
  3. The drip: about 45 minutes. The nurse stays with you the whole time.
  4. Removal: the cannula comes out, a small plaster goes on, and you’re free to carry on with your day.

Mild bruising where the cannula went in is common and fades within a few days. Prefer to stay in? Our hotel and villa visits bring the same drip to you, including the private resorts covered on our Tubkaek villa IV drip page.

Glutathione IV drip price in Thailand

Prices for a glutathione IV drip in Thailand vary a lot between clinics, depending on the dose, what else is in the bag and whether a nurse comes to you. Our current price and duration are shown at the top of this page, and you can compare every drip on our drip menu and prices. We give you an itemised receipt after treatment.

Who shouldn’t have this drip

The nurse may decline or postpone your drip, or suggest you check with your own doctor first, if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have kidney disease or liver disease
  • Have asthma, especially if it’s poorly controlled
  • Have heart disease or high blood pressure
  • Have had an allergic reaction to glutathione, vitamin C or other IV treatments
  • Take regular prescription medicines (tell the nurse about all of them)

Please be honest during screening: it’s there to keep you safe.

When to go to hospital instead

A drip isn’t the right choice if you’re properly unwell. Go to hospital, or call 1669 for an ambulance, if you have:

  • Severe sunburn with blistering over a large area, fever or chills
  • Confusion, fainting or a very high temperature after time in the sun
  • Chest pain or difficulty breathing
  • Swelling of the face, lips or tongue, or a widespread rash

The nearest hospitals are Wattanapat Hospital Ao Nang, Bangkok Hospital Krabi and Krabi Hospital (the government hospital in Krabi Town).

Frequently asked questions

Will a glutathione drip lighten my skin?

We don’t offer it for that, and we don’t promise it. There’s no reliable evidence that IV glutathione safely lightens skin. We offer Glow & Glutathione for hydration and antioxidant support.

How often can I have it?

On a typical holiday, one drip is plenty. The nurse will advise you based on your screening, and won’t recommend repeat drips you don’t need.

Can I go in the sun afterwards?

Yes, but treat the sun with the same care as before: sunscreen, shade and plenty of water. The drip doesn’t protect your skin from UV.

Can I have it at my villa?

Yes. Our nurse can come to hotels, villas and bungalows in our service area. Book a drip online or message us on WhatsApp, and we’ll confirm the timing when you get in touch.
