Feeling too rough to leave your room? Book an IV drip hotel visit in Ao Nang and a registered nurse comes to you, with everything needed for your drip. You stay in bed, on the sofa or by the villa pool while it runs.
Our mobile IV drip service in Ao Nang also covers the nearby beaches, and the drips are the same ones we give at the clinic. This page explains how a visit works, where we go, what the nurse brings and how payment works.
How an IV drip hotel visit in Ao Nang works
- Message or book. Use the booking form or WhatsApp. Tell us where you’re staying, how many people want a drip and roughly how you feel. If you’re not sure which drip to choose, tell us your symptoms and we’ll suggest one from our drip menu.
- We confirm an arrival time. We reply with an honest estimate based on where you are and what the nurse is already doing. If we can’t reach you in reasonable time, we’ll say so rather than keep you waiting.
- Health screening. When the nurse arrives, they ask about your symptoms, medical history, medicines and allergies, and check your blood pressure and pulse. They may adjust the formula, or advise you not to have a drip and point you to a hospital instead.
- Your drip. The nurse places a small cannula in your arm and stays with you for the whole drip, usually 30 to 45 minutes. Afterwards they remove it, check you’re feeling well and take payment.

No queue, no taxi, no waiting room. It works like a home service for wherever you’re staying in Krabi.
Areas we cover and realistic arrival times
Our nurses visit hotels, resorts, villas, condos and bungalows in:

- Ao Nang: beachfront hotels, the hillside resorts and the streets behind the main road
- Nopparat Thara: the quieter beach just north of Ao Nang
- Klong Muang: the resort strip further north along the coast
- Tubkaek: the private villas and luxury resorts beyond Klong Muang
- Railay: East and West Railay, Phra Nang and Tonsai, reached by longtail boat. See our page on IV drips in Railay Beach for how boat access affects timing.
Arrival time depends on distance, traffic and how busy the day is. Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara are closest, while Klong Muang and Tubkaek take longer by road. We always give you a real estimate when you message us, not a best-case guess.
Staying in Klong Muang or Tubkaek? We’ll have dedicated pages for in-resort IV drips in Klong Muang and private villa IV drips in Tubkaek soon.
We don’t currently cover Krabi Town or the islands outside this list. If you’re unsure whether your hotel is inside our area, send us its name and we’ll tell you straight away.
What the nurse brings
Everything comes in a sealed kit, so you don’t need to prepare anything except somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down.

- Sterile, single-use cannula, tubing and IV bag, opened in front of you
- Your drip and any add-ons, as agreed after screening
- A blood pressure monitor and the basics for a short health check
- A drip stand or a safe way to hang the bag
- Gloves, alcohol swabs, dressings and a sharps container, which the nurse takes away afterwards
The nurse leaves nothing behind except a small plaster on your arm.
Privacy and hotel policies
Most guests have their drip in their own room or villa. The nurse arrives in plain, neat clothing and is discreet with reception staff. We don’t share your health details with your hotel.

Some resorts have rules about outside visitors or medical services, and these vary from property to property. A quick word with reception before we arrive usually avoids any delay at the gate. We’ll give you the nurse’s name when we confirm the visit so you can register them as your visitor.
If you’d rather not have your drip in a shared room, you’re welcome to come to the clinic instead.
Group, villa and wedding bookings
Hen and stag weekends, wedding parties and families in a shared villa often book several drips at once. One nurse can look after a small group at the same time; larger groups may need extra staff, so give us as much notice as you can.

Everyone still has their own health screening, and each person can choose a different drip. For an IV drip at a villa in Krabi, tell us the number of people and the address when you book, and we’ll plan around your schedule.
When to go to hospital instead
A drip at your hotel is for mild, everyday problems such as dehydration, a hangover, travel tiredness or a minor stomach upset. It isn’t emergency care. Go straight to hospital, or call 1669 for an ambulance, if you or someone with you has:
- Chest pain, difficulty breathing or fainting
- Confusion, a severe headache or a stiff neck
- A high fever, especially with a rash
- Blood in vomit or stool, or severe stomach pain
- Been unable to keep any fluids down for 24 hours
- Signs of a serious allergic reaction, a head injury or heatstroke
The nearest hospitals are Wattanapat Hospital Ao Nang, Bangkok Hospital Krabi and Krabi Hospital (government). If our nurse finds red flags during screening, they’ll advise you to go and won’t start a drip.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a call-out fee for hotel visits?
If a visit fee applies to your area, we’ll tell you when you book. We’ll always tell you the full cost when we confirm your booking, before the nurse sets off. Drip prices are on our drip menu.
How do I pay?
You pay after your treatment, in cash (Thai baht), by Thai QR/PromptPay or by card. Nothing is charged in advance.
Can I get a receipt for my travel insurance?
Yes. Ask the nurse and we’ll give you an itemised receipt showing the treatment you received. Whether your insurer pays depends on your policy and the reason for the drip, so check with them before you claim. See does travel insurance cover an IV drip? for what insurers usually need.
Is a mobile IV in Krabi as safe as a clinic drip?
The drips, kits and screening are the same. A registered nurse stays with you throughout and every kit is sterile and single-use. If the nurse feels a drip isn’t right for you, they won’t give it.
Can you visit late at night or early in the morning?
We work every day within the opening hours shown at the top of this page. Message us and we’ll tell you the earliest time a nurse can reach you.
Do you come to boats or Airbnbs?
We visit private villas, condos and holiday rentals within our area, just like hotels. For boats, message us with the details and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
