Staying on Klong Muang beach and need an IV drip? You don’t have to leave your resort. A registered nurse from IV Drip Ao Nang comes to your room, villa or a quiet spot you choose, sets up the drip and stays with you the whole time.
Klong Muang is part of our regular service area, so this isn’t a special request.
Why people book an IV drip in Klong Muang
Klong Muang is a long, quiet beach a short drive west of Ao Nang, lined with large resorts rather than bars and shops. That calm is the appeal, but it also means a pharmacy or clinic can feel a long way off when you’re unwell.

Typical reasons guests here book a drip:
- too much sun on the beach or around the pool
- a heavy night after heading into Ao Nang for dinner and drinks
- a long-haul flight and a body clock that hasn’t caught up
- a travel tummy that’s left you drained and short of fluids
How long it takes us to reach Klong Muang
We travel from Ao Nang by road. Arrival time depends on traffic, the time of day and how busy the nurses are.

Message us with your resort name and we’ll give you an honest arrival time before you book.
When you book, we’ll give you an honest estimate and keep you updated on WhatsApp. Read more about how hotel and villa IV drip visits in Krabi work, including what the nurse brings.
What the in-room experience is like
The nurse arrives with a sterile, single-use kit and everything needed for the drip. First comes a short health screening, covering your symptoms, medical history and any medicines you take. If a drip isn’t right for you, the nurse will tell you and suggest where to get the right care.

Then you can relax on the bed, a sofa or a shaded balcony. Each drip takes about 30–45 minutes, and the nurse stays until it’s finished and the cannula is out. You pay afterwards in cash, by Thai QR or by card, and we can give you a receipt for insurance.
Resorts usually welcome visiting medical staff, but a few have their own rules. Let your front desk know a nurse is coming, or tell us your resort name and we’ll help you check.
Couples and groups
Klong Muang is popular with couples, families and groups who take several rooms or a pool villa together. If two or more of you want a drip, book at the same time and we’ll plan for it.

For larger groups, such as a birthday trip or a wedding party, give us as much notice as you can so enough nurses are available. Each person still has their own screening and their own sterile kit.
Popular drips for Klong Muang stays
Three drips that suit a Klong Muang stay:

- Hangover Rescue: fluids, electrolytes and vitamins to help with dehydration, nausea and headache after a night out.
- Island Hydration: a simple fluid and electrolyte top-up after too much sun or a stomach upset.
- Myers’ Cocktail: a vitamin and mineral drip people choose to feel refreshed mid-holiday.
